Hamilton Carhartt & Co is an American company founded in 1889, initially specializing in the manufacture of workwear. The brand's historic and emblematic models are the jackets, trousers and overalls in "cotton duck", a thick cotton fabric that is often ochre-brown.
Nowadays, the brand includes two totally different product lines which are the original collections, made in the USA, and more sportswear collections, aimed at the rest of the world.
